(60fps) 3rd Strike Dreamcast #19 - VS CPU, up to difficulty 5! (& VGA shenanigans)
(Forgot to mention in #18 that I turned off EX Moves and Parries to reduce flashing FX for my photosensitivity. : P)
I raised the game's difficulty level 0:19 from 4 to 5 (of 8 : P)--had been winning most fights pretty handily lately. (Spoiler: 5 didn't seem too much different...at first!)
Was still having the red channel of my video signal fading in and out (5:25, for instance) through my VGA splitter--a cheap thing I got off Amazon : P--so around the 6:00 mark in this video I swapped it out for another cheap one I'd got off Amazon...which was actually just the same component stamped with a different company's name. : P But I thought maybe I'd burned the first one out by leaving it plugged in 24-7 (these things are USB powered...sorta...and don't have an off switch or anything : P). And this second splitter seemed a little better...at first... : P
Anyway aside from that here I am trying to play VS CPU mode in Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike on Dreamcast, with funky extra unlockable character colors and custom fight rule settings:
1:20 - Elena vs Ibuki (I gotta stop using Yang's stage, darn flashing electricity : P)
6:42 - Ryu vs Oro
14:52 - Ken vs Hugo (Ken still *pretty much* needs just one move at difficulty 5...)
19:10 - Gouki vs Q
Recorded 8/26/19 w/ Dreamcast, 3rd Strike in 240p mode, Kuro VGA box, OSSC, Framemeister, Elgato HD60 (and several really cheap VGA splitters that shall remain nameless : PP--I'll name a better one in the next video)
