I sold my PS3 before I moved last summer but I've decided to switch back to Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike on the PS3--the Dreamcast version I'd been playing has a lot more input lag--so I got myself a new used PS3 Slim and 3rd Strike Online Edition is back in action!

Here I'm just going through the settings I'm using, and then showing a bit of (real bad--gonna take a bit of getting used to this version : o) Ryu play with them.

0:06 - Settings
0:13 - Dip Switches (I've turned off parries, EX moves, supers, and slowed down meter build as much as I could--this is to minimize flashing FX for my silly eyeballs BP) (Notice the incorrect "Matchmaking Options" title over this menu. : P)
0:59 - DLC - Color Packs. Currently trying out Color Pack 2, which I just bought. (At this point I didn't realize there's another color set you gotta beat the game per character to unlock!)
1:30 - DLC - Music Packs.
1:40 - Germany Music Pack 2 preview -- Hugo's regular stage music is a little industrial for my tastes, so I'm going with the smooth jazz from 2nd Impact.
2:05 - Kenya Music Pack 1 preview -- Elena's default 3rd Strike stage music is, uh--well it kind of gets in my head a bit. : P So I've switched it over to the milder music from New Generation.
3:00 - Mexico Music Pack 2 preview - Urien's default 3rd Strike stage music is too tough for my wimpiness, switched it over to his 2nd Impact tunes.
4:23 - Single Player - Vault - Stages - Remy's stage artwork. You unlock these with points earned by completing challenges while playing, I guess. These images of the stages aren't that thrilling--it sure would have been nice to be able to unlock the stages from New Generation and 2nd Impact!! But nope, just art of the regular 3rd Strike stages. : P
5:04 - Single Player - Vault - Music - Remixed Theme Music: China preview. Maybe I've just heard it too much, but I don't really need to hear Chun-Li's stage music again. So I've switched it over to Online Edition's "Remixed" version--not mind-blowing, but at least different.
5:49 - A few minutes of arcade mode w/ Ryu (Color Pack 2) to show the settings in action. Doing exceptionally poorly, even by my low standards. Maybe just not used to this version yet...I hope! : o
6:05 - Ryu vs Twelve
8:45 - The Pause screen move list. (Why this doesn't default to the character you're playing, I can't imagine. : P)
8:37 - Ryu vs Chun-Li (a few rounds of it, anyway)
