Part 67 of my 100% playthrough of Chrono Trigger on the Nintendo DS.

This part presents you with the alternate version of the first main ending. In this version, I used the Epoch to crash into Lavos, which also means that it can't be used anymore for the ending. I think that makes the ending cuter though, with Marle and Crono being on a balloon trip and all.

There are also some smaller differences which are the results of some other choices in the game. Here they are:
– Marle calls the King "Father" instead of "Daddy", which is the result of not finishing the Rainbow Shell sidequest.
– Pierre replaces the Chancellor, as he was not freed from his chest, which is also from not finishing the Rainbow Shell sidequest.
– Lara can't use her legs, so she's sitting near the fountain, which happens if you don't save Lara during the Sunken Desert sidequest.
– Magus is absent from the ending, which happens if you decide to duel against him at North Cape in 12,000BC.
