7 Days to Die (2016 Early Access) - Dumb Of The Dead
Well then.. Now for something deep from my library, It feels so surreal to see a game from 2016 that was long ago abandoned that can still be played and in multiplayer but no longer is in active developement while the game itself was given new life with a V1.0 release on PS5. I don't understand it but what can you say?
7 Days to Die originally goes back to 2014, with Telltale Publishing making a PS4/Xbox One port early access on June 28th 2016. A survival game, after a major apocalypse, we choose a character from the selection list and are dropped into a randomly generated world. Our goals are listed by a placement. We start with food, a torch and not much else, but death often comes quick due to poorly made AI attacker zombies and dogs that killed me quick.
I'm not kidding but I feel this early access game may just be one of the most boring I've ever had the misfortune of playing and I had bought it when the port was new. Honestly? Crafting system is quite impressive for the time with a series of ideas that follows making a base and crafting a wide variety of items. Like other survival games, 7 Days to die has a durability system which is meh, The weather and the map details for 2016 are... ok? But this game takes forever to go from a early burn.. I lost interest long before my base began to take form.
