1. Spin Transition
This is where you spin twice in the same direction but in different locations
2. Black Screen
Cover the lens int he first shot and start the second shot uncovered
3. Feet Walking
Film your feet walking and cut to another clip of your feet walking at the same foot forward
4. Camera Shake:
Shake your camera in two shots and cut between them
5. Swish Pan:
Pan from left to right or right to left in two shots, cutting between them during a blurry frame
6. Jump Transition:
Film your feet jumping in two places, cutting between the two before you land
7. Door Closing:
Close a different door in two shots, cutting between them right at the moment the first door closes.

Now the editing part: Each type of transition will have a slightly different cut but the concept for editing them is the same. You’ll need to match the frames of both clips so that they are the as close as possible where you make the cut. This will allow for a smooth transition between the two and complete the effect.
