Gameplay of the hidden character Lilly Kane in SNK’s King of Fighters Maximum Impact 2/King of Fighters 2006.

Lilly is Billy Kane’s sister, to the surprise of absolutely no one. She plays more or less exactly Billy too, except she has ice powers instead of fire. And…well, that’s it honestly. She’s just Billy but with a few move variations. You might be noticing a theme that most of the hidden characters in this game are quite derivative, and Lilly is probably the best example of that. She’s a perfectly good character on the whole, with lots of spammy combos easily available to her, not to mention the range which her polearm gives her. I thought she was pretty decent on the whole, but like so many of the hiddens she is mainly here as fanservice.

Other things to note is that her regular costume has color variations with the designs of Hotaru from Garou Mark of the Wolves, as well as Hinako from the KOF 2000. Her another costume is actually a variant on Billy’s and truth be told I think it’s much better than her regular one.

All in all, Lilly is pretty damn good. Her attacks are pretty spammy, she builds super meter quickly, and the fact that her level one super hits on-the-ground means that she can chain three together for a ton of damage, and it’s actually pretty insane. All in all, a pretty good character.
