The easiest group fight so far (if you don't count the reused St. Elmo's Fire fight, which I don't). Reisen summons three random flunkies. The exact formation will be random, but the enemy types are divided between Inaba Vanguards (physical types with 18K HP and higher DEF than MND) or Inaba Mages (magical types with 12K HP and higher MND than DEF). The Vanguards and Mages all use disabling attacks (Shield Bash and Magic Drain). Reisen also specializes in debuffing MYS spells and ailment inflicting attacks.

The only thing Reisen is guaranteed to do is re-summon new minions when they die. It takes up all her ATB, and it's a good way to stop Reisen from doing anything dangerous. It helps that all the Rabbits in this fight are vulnerable to PAR.

While it's a totally valid strategy, there is a catch: if you fight Reisen this way, you miss out on Reisen's extremely good boss drop, Getitup V. The Touhou Wiki has a better explanation:

"Normally, completing this battle will earn you Machoke's Bracelets [...] and Balls of Lightning [...]. However, killing Reisen before killing any more minions than her original three will allow you to get Reisen's drop, a Getitup V, which provides +30% to all stats and is much more useful than the other drops. Doing so results in a far harder battle, however, as due to the way the drops system works, if you kill too many of Reisen's subordinates before her, their drops will be the ones recieved (all enemies in this battle have 100% drop chance)."

The strategy to fighting Reisen this way is paralyzing the Rabbits as much as possible while unloading on Reisen. Komachi is a pretty decent attacker here, even with a HP build, since Reisen is weak to SPI and Komachi has a SPI attack. PAR is obviously a must, but I recommended sticking with Reimu's PAR AOE.

Komachi's Avici spell can accidentally inflict PSN and DTH (the Rabbit goons do not have full DTH immunity). As for Cirno: this is the rare situation where ATK build Cirno is a negative. She can easily kill the Rabbits by accident due to their low HP. You can use her at the start of the fight (she'll get her first turn before Reimu does) but stick with Reimu afterwards.

Despite how it's described on the Wiki, this fight is a small step up in difficulty from the easy version. If you are finding it difficult, I recommend over-leveling until this fight is easy; Getitup V is a legitimately useful equip to have. It certainly helped out a lot on a certain, 12F fight...
