A Meteor, Some Old Bones, and a Big Egg | Evil Genius 2 Loot Quests
Training a bunch of science minions opens up unique loot quests in Evil Genius 2. Is the loot any good? Well that depends. In the video we unlock three of the unique loot items and test out what their effects are.
Giant Meteor: Unlock by employing 15 scientists. Is purely cosmetic.
World's Oldest Bones: Unlock by employing 20 Biologists. Wastes science minions time and smarts. Maybe this is bugged or has some effect I'm not noticing.
Giant Egg: Unlock by employing 10 Biologists. Serves as a rapid biologist trainer.
Very mixed bag here on the effects of these loot items. I've usually found loot items to be useful even if they are not incredibly powerful. Some of the ones I picked up here are very disappointing, the purely cosmetic meteor is fine I guess especially because it fits with Zalika's inner sanctum, but the Oldest Bones just baffles me that there is not a noticeable effect and it is there wasting your minions time. I would say these are still essential for getting the achievement tied to unlocking all the loot items in the game, but just like the achievement for getting all the henchmen it's bugged because two of the loot items are mutually exclusive with each other. Which ones, well sub and stay tuned to find out.
