In this video, we focus an artwork of female empowerment in the Smithsonian National Museum of African Art in Washington, DC.
It's a large drum from the Baga people of Guinea.
The instrument is played by a group of women known for their female solidarity and unity. This is one of the most interesting African drums and I hope you enjoy learning about it.

Also a random Metal Gear Solid joke makes its way into the video.
