Let's tango with a lil review of Grim Fandango Remastered (2015) for the PlayStation 4. If you like this review, here's what you can do: imbibe and subscribe, or share if you care. Rhyming! I've rhymed before and I'll do it again!

Notes:
*So you know how I immediately referenced something that I said in the previous review, which was of Final Fantasy XV? I have since trimmed my Final Fantasy XV review down on YouTube, which cut out about seven minutes of me talking about my channel before I got to the actual review. And it was in those seven minutes that I said what I then mentioned here, so that's what I was referring to. I figured I'd point this out because if you watched my FFXV review nowadays and then watched this review, you'd probably be confused at what exactly I was talking about when I mentioned how I had said that I might switch up my review style occasionally - since you can't actually watch/hear me say that thing in that video anymore.
*This was the first and only time I ever made a review with music running in the background the whole time. Music is very important to me, but I always found that music got in the way of my pacing whenever I did reviews, and plus I didn't think it was necessary, so I just got comfortable not utilizing tracks until the very end of videos.
*Just in case it wasn't clear, the fancy gray borders that surround the screen during this review are indeed part of the remastered version.
*One thing I've decided I'll note here, and not inside the review, since it's just a big info dump anyway: Grim Fandango has a mixed legacy as far as its financial success goes. There were many, many reports that the PC version was not a big seller, even though game creator Tim Schafer said for years that the game did fine and met its internal projections. Regardless, as well-received as the original 1998 version was, it's safe to say that it was more of a "cult hit" than a commercial one, which is a big reason why it was such an awesome surprise when it got the remaster treatment.
*The original game was released and developed by LucasArts, back when they were heavy in the adventure game business. For a while, there was an internet rumor that if you look super closely at one of the crowd shots of the pod-racing scene in The Phantom Menace, you can see both Manny Calavera AND Indiana Jones in the stands, though that rumor has been subsequently squashed by people who made the movie. There IS a confirmed cameo from E.T. in that film, however.
*I made this video back when my username was not Velodus, hence the "video by" at the end being different. Carry on.
