A review of LOST: Part 8 - The Ending
Lost is kind of like a ponzi scheme for your eyes... a really cool ponzi scheme. If you're into that sort of thing.
Notes:
*This video was previously titled "Reetae Reviews LOST: Part 8 - The Ending". This was back when my username was "reetae27" instead of what it is now: "Velodus."
*So, I did make one legitimate error in this video, which I fact-checked during the epilogue review. Jack and Juliet were divorced in the flash sideways. I blame this on the fact that I spent so much time watching the show out of order, in chopped up segments, that it simply went past me when it shouldn't have. Blegh
*This part contains at least one small clip from every single episode of Lost. I dare you to prove me wrong. (Actually, please don't. It'd be too much trouble to double-check.)
*The credits footage was captured by Vance Koenig. You can check out the full video of his tour of Hawaii, where Lost was filmed, here: https://vimeo.com/109874145
*During this review, I almost never used more than 30 seconds of any one interview, but I did it twice here, so I feel obligated to link to the full interviews of both snippets. First, Lindelof's sit-down at the Austin Film Festival: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPJXLhtgrrg. And then, his rather illuminating interview with The Verge, which was very long and very good: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mSNTXHljeeM
*I need to give a massive shout-out to the Internet Archive's Wayback Machine, for preserving defunct and deleted webpages. This entire review absolutely could not have been done without it. (https://archive.org)
