A10-7860K vs i3-6100 Frame Time Analysis - Grand Theft Auto V
No benchmark suite is complete without the fan favourite open world game, GTA V, so here is our take on that. The built-in benchmark provides a convenient way to investigate how the different graphics settings effect the frame rate. We set all the quality options and Post FX to normal with sharp Soft Shadow, Ambient Occlusion and Tessellation is off.
Note the differences (bugs?) in the two shots. In the last scene the jet chase camera is closer to the plane on the AMD APU while the Intel iGP is missing the water under the bridge, there is no moon either on the day-night cycles scenes, plus the Ferris wheel is MiA in the amusement park scene.

A dedicated recording PC with a capture card was used to save the game footages and consequently no performance penalty was incurred on the reviewed systems. For convenience, games are installed on an external SSD and connected to the reviewed PC via USB3.0 interface.
