From the maker of Gunman Clive comes his latest creation:
Onion Assault is a Super Mario Bros 2-like experience where the player picks up onions or enemies to use as weapons. Come to think about it, this is a very underused trope in modern retro games.
There's a lot of Metroidvanias and Megaman's stage select structures but not so much for Super Mario Bros 2.
This video will show case all 16 stages in 16 recordings (so it's not a single sitting run of me doing all 16 stages at once deathless).
The game automatically saves whenever a stage is cleared or a new onion coin has been picked up so you may noticed a few levels will show onion coins that were "already collected" when tallied on the top right part of the screen.
