#AD TMNT: Shredder's Revenge bug: Half height Rising Attacks & how to pull it off without jump input
Labelled as #AD as I was given a PC Game Key from Streamforge. This video is not a paid sponsor.
Rising Attack, except this video isn't going to be covering references from other games like other content creators have done, oh no sirree, Bob.
There is a state which I call it semi-grounded where the very edge of the higher platforms shows the character grounded but its shadow seems out of place, during this state, pulling off a Rising Attack will only give the character half the usual jumping height.
The other secret is that there is a way to execute the move without touching the jump button. By holding attack and then mashing up, you can pull off the move. Mashing up is ideal during the attacking frames of another move such as a Combo Attack jab or Dive Attack just to be sure the player isn't charging up for a Heavy Swing.
