Thexder is one of those games that seems like it would be incredibly easy when you're told how it works, having a laser that automatically and instantly reaches its target and being able to fly anywhere, but the game's actually incredibly challenging.
Also, let's see if a Tandy 3-voice rendition of 200-year-old music from Beethoven makes another erroneous Content ID match. (It thankfully didn't!)

Additional Information and Corrections:
* I didn't realize this until I was almost ready to render the episode, but during the colour comparisons you may notice that there's no purple used on-screen in the gameplay screenshots, even though it looks like there are shades of purple, especially in the caverns. Well, by following this link ( http://www.pixelships.com/adg/images/adg12_egabat.png ) you can see a picture of the bat from the caverns magnified to 10x resolution. As you can see, the EGA mode truly doesn't use any actual purple shades, but rather mixes red and blue together to simulate purple. I would like to note though that there are TWO shades of purple in the default EGA colour palette! (Well, "magenta", not purple, if you want to be picky.)
* There IS actually an MCGA mode that has slight colour variations to the Tandy mode, but getting it working in DOSBox is a trip and a half and you still have to listen to that lousy PC speaker music. :P
* I found out later on when I covered the second Thexder game in Episode 20 that I forgot to take gamma into consideration when I did my palette comparisons here. I then went back to my original comparison screenshots, took gamma into account, and... there was no difference in the colour count, the colours simply looked more accurate. :B
