ADG Episode 89 - Duke Nukem 3D
Originally Released: June 9th, 2012

AKA: The episode in which I make every brony jealous. ;D
It's still crazy how the transition from the original cartoony Duke Nukem to the womanizing, wisecracking Duke took place, but given that the game which resulted is one of the best and most innovative first person shooters ever made I don't think most people were complaining. :B
Then 3D Realms tried to make Duke Nukem Forever... eh heh... ^_^;

Additional Information and Corrections:
* About the start of the episode: Yes, it's real. No, it's not for sale. Yes, I made it myself and it took forever to make. No, I didn't make it to indulge in perverted fantasies, in fact, it's been in storage since I sold my house in 2013. If you're curious to learn more about it, check out my post on DeviantArt: http://gemini000.deviantart.com/art/Gigantastic-Fluttershy-Plushie-307259613
* Duke Nukem 3D, along with most Duke Nukem titles, have disappeared from GOG, Steam, and other sources due to licensing reasons, as the licenses have been changing hands a bit recently. Once the games go back online I'll have links posted as to where to buy them, but for the moment, there don't seem to be any legit download sites to get the game from right now, meaning eBay or other such places are your only bet for the moment. :/
* Also, here are the links to the source ports I mentioned at the end of the video, including JFDuke3D ( http://www.jonof.id.au/jfduke3d ) and EDuke32 ( http://www.eduke32.com )
* FromGen actually started life as a Canadian company in the late 80s, but later went on to pretty much do nothing but silently publish Apogee / 3D Realms stuff without attaching their logo to anything. It's hard to research this company because there's a lot of conflicting details about it.
* I didn't elaborate on the enemies because I didn't feel like it and I didn't want the video to run on too long. Really, the weapons and powerups are much more of a focus than anything you're fighting. :P
* One feature I didn't mention was the Parental Lock feature, which blanks out the graphics to anything gory or sexual... except for dead bodies. Brilliant. Actually, there's a special version of the game that was made specifically for Wal-Mart stores that has Parental Lock permanently engaged. I guess an RSAC rating wasn't good enough. :P
* There was indeed a hint for the next episode after the credits... ;)
