A.I. High Resolution Level Design (Wave Function Collapse #6)
2023-01-09. I created this video at a request from a viewer named J D @GemExtractor to see higher resolution images.
Using the Wave Function Collapse (WFC) algorithm that I implemented myself in software (single core, no GPU), this renders 256x128 (sometimes larger if the texture demands it) texture results from many example source images I have devised. Some generate more slowly than others since there are more patterns that each XxX (usually 3x3 or 4x4) pixel section can be (which are obtained from the source image).
Some of the images allow mirror and rotation, though it is not clearly signaled in the text in the HUD, you can see the resultant sample patterns.
