0:00 Oceanfront Mansion
The well at the upper-right has an undead trio that you have to fight before claiming the treasure.
The mansion has a puzzle where you have to find the correct 4-digit combination through the clues scattered throughout the place. My answer was 5579, but I have no idea if it's different per playthrough.
You can talk to a little girl here who wants to find her cat. However, you then have to go to a quest center in either town in order to initiate that quest. That is such an asinine way of implementing quests. It would have been better to have the player accept the quest at the center before talking to the client rather than the other way around, that way they can know the quest actually exists.
10:26 Cyria
Again, this is a super crowded city. The maps are also large and confusing, so I had trouble trying to look for side content here. At the second screen, you'll run into the black-haired punk from Augren, who accuses Ephren of stealing his wallet.

Xeke will leave behind a letter saying to be at a forest with a bridge at noon.
You can find the cat for the Mr. Whiskers quest in this map, but to get the reward, you must report to a quest center. The little girl doesn't acknowledge your actions at all.
There's another scavenger hunt quest, which was pretty tough because the clover sprite blends into the ground way too well.
There's also a bunch of keys scattered throughout town, but I also struggled to differentiate each house from the other, so that took a while. Also, there's a mechanic where opening one chest causes another to be empty forever, which means more saving and loading!
30:13 Cyria Castle
Many parts of the castle will be locked off for now. You can then report to the kin. Unfortunately, if you're like me and you took your time with sidequests, you'll be penalized for taking too long. I had no idea when I was being timed, making this a huge bruh moment. Hopefully, I didn't miss anything too important by getting the lowest rank.
Afterwards, Ephren will see an illusion of Lance in the lobby, which is strange because meeting him should have been an optional quest.
You'll have to go the the barracks, where you'll get a flashback of when Ephren met his mentor, Alastor Match. You'll have a flashback battle against a minor thug, though Ephren will be weaker due to being a child with little control over his Synergy.
After that, go to the cafeteria and the training grounds, where you'll have a practice round against Match.

For some reason, he tried to buff himself twice. I succeeded in drawing my sword, allowing me to finish this quickly.
The next step of the journey is to go to Tyria to negotiate with Princess Graelia so that her country doesn't go to war with Cyria.
