0:00 Loot Cave
A man in Augren will talk about Loot Cave, allowing you to accept the quest at a quest center. The cave itself is at the NE part of the world map. The puzzle requires you to flip switches to advance, but you can only have 5 switches active at a time. Match will also struggle to damage enemies here because they're all fire elemental like him. When you get a water elemental sword from one of the chests, equip it to him so he can just spam normal attacks.
14:21 Boss: Big Red Demon
Get rid of the minor enemies and keep using water attacks while minding your health.
16:11 A Whole Lotta Empty
At the end of the cave, you'll reach a clearing full of treasure chests. Most of them are empty, but the Necro Plate is actually very useful for later.
20:17 Elmvale Forest
Now that you have a party member, you can explore this forest. I somehow got softlocked when opening a chest here, which was frustrating considering the effort I put into fighting the powerful enemy encounters here. There is no sidequest here and a lot of paths are blocked off by fourth wall-breaking NPCs.
22:44 Tyria
In this city, you have to go to the cafe (coffee sign) to meet Alina, a friend of Ephren's. At the lower level of the city, a white-haired man will bump into Ephren and somehow provoke him into participating in the arena fights.
You have to look for Princess Hazel and answer her as politely as possible, cuz diplomacy. Stay at the inn to initiate a dinner event with her, where you must curry favor with her so that she'll explain Graelia is suffering from famine. Maybe if we can have Cyria send relief, we can have peace?
34:05 Two Days Later?!
When Ephren wakes up, he learns that he was drugged during the dinner party, making Cyria sus of Graelia. With nothing else to do, Ephren and Match decide to participate in the arena battles. You have to go to the arena to register, and then rest again. However, before doing the final rest, I recommend grinding until Ephren is at least level 10, since the arena and the final playable dungeon are going to be hard.
42:40 Arena
All arena matches are solo, which means Match won't be able to help you.
46:18 Boss: Winzor
Even this first opponent is pretty stronk. Hopefully, you brought a lot of high potions.
You can rest between fights and buy items, though the seller doesn't have high potions for some reason.
48:28 Boss: Ronaldo
He has lightning spells, which are effective against water types like Ephren. However, his physical defense is low.
51:12 Boss: Roy
He has dark spells, which is why I recommended the Necro Plate.
54:23 Boss: White-haired Man
Dark spells again. However, the battle will be interrupted.
55:12 Kidnapping
Someone kidnapped Princess Hazel! Ephren and Match abandon the tournament in order to chase the kidnapper. At one point, we run into three people, but Match takes care of them on his own and then catches up to me.
56:22 Mountain Trail
At first, the enemies are moderately challenging for our current party. Unfortunately, an assassin tries and fails to kill Ephren, who decides to ditch the princess to go after the assassin while Match continues pursuing the kidnapper. Yeah, splitting up is stupid.
The next section has to be done with Ephren solo, but the enemy mobs are still as large!😡 You also have to solve a puzzle involving shifting log positions, and it's possible to miss chests if you go too far, so save in separate slots.

You have to fight alongside the assassin against this fast foe, but the assassin can inflict poison!
1:09:11 Reluctant Alliance
The white-haired man appears and accuses Ephren of war crimes in Aeole. Combined with the earlier wallet accusation from Zeke, I think there's an IMPOSTOR!
After knocking out the man, Ephren convinces the assassin, Dawn, to join him.
1:13:12 Seryn
Match couldn't catch the perps by himself. He agrees to have Dawn join us, but he doesn't trust her. The game says to look for a ship, but that event isn't implemented yet. You can still do a scavenger quest though.
