Alfred Tries To Play: Bobo (Amiga)
0This game is based on a Belgian comic series about a prisoner called Bobo. In this game adaptation, you control Bobo in a number of minigames that center around you performing prison or escape duties.
Perhaps the closest thing I can compare this game to is The Aquatic Games which I played some time ago. Like that game, this is kinda fun the first time you play it thanks to the humour and novelty value, helped here by some amusing animations and wacky music.
But like that other game, the second time you play it, you realize it's a bit crap because the controls are bad, although the floor sweeping and trampoline minigames do play OK. Also there isn't really an end goal to work towards here- you can choose to play either 1 or all the minigames in the menu, but the only thing you can do is hope to improve your score each time.
It's worth trying once, but that's about it.
