If you've ever used a Windows PC in your life, you've played the built-in Solitaire card games. Don't lie, we've all done it.

Anyway, here is a SNES Solitaire game that at first glance seems hopelessly outdated and obsolete since chances are you're able to quickly access a Solitaire game on whatever device you're watching this video on. But not so fast!

In addition to some of the familiar Solitaire variations such as Klondike (the ordinary Windows Solitaire) and FreeCell (which I play here), there are also variations not so commonly seen such as Dozen't Matter or Canfield. There are 12 variations in total, so this is quite a substantial offering.

By the time this version was released, Microsoft had already offered their Solitaire game for 3 years and this version doesn't seem particularly optimized for the SNES with it's PC-like menus and controls, making it a bit clunky. Fortunately, the SNES Mouse is supported.

For all it offers, I'm not quite sure this SNES version is gonna replace the built-in Solitaire versions present on all devices, but if you really love Solitaire (as opposed to the kind of person who just opens the game up when bored) and want to play more variations, this is worth tracking down.
