In this video (originally broadcast on Twitch on 15/09/2022, uploaded here with some fixes and edits) I take a look at Free League's much delayed physical edition of the Heart of Darkness cinematic module for the critically acclaimed Alien roleplaying game. And there's also a quick look at something I've got in the works. See the pinned post for some juicy links!

If you're a fan of the Alien RPG, then it's quite likely you'll be hungry for more cinematic shenanigans. This scenario pack works as a conclusion to the trilogy of story settings that began in Chariot of the Gods and continued in Destroyer of Worlds. It's quite impressive how different to each other these modules are. But Heart of Darkness goes to some of the wildest places imaginable! If you enjoyed some of the aspects that were introduced to the franchise in Prometheus and Alien: Covenant, then you'll probably find something here to enjoy.

And did I mention, you can play as the cat in this one? Because you can. He has a stat block and everything! (And a crusty butt.)

In this video, I unbox and examine the contents of the module, and offer some thoughts on the content itself. I try to go as light on spoilers as possible here, so hopefully there's nothing to substantially impact enjoyment of the game for anyone who decides they'd like to play it.
