Cool beat-em-up in the vein of Final Fight (also by Capcom) featuring the baddies from the Alien and Predator franchises. Actually, in this game, you can play as the heroic Predator creature-- either the Hunter or the Warrior. Or you can choose from 2 human characters. Up to 3 players can join in on the fun. I would suggest the Predators, since they have better combo attacks and are stronger and have more damaging weapon attacks. Each character has a regular attack and a weapon attack-- the latter of which has limited energy before you must wait for it to recharge. Lt. Kurosawa has the fastest recharge of all but her regular attacks are so weak and short-ranged.. I would go with the Predators. Fight through several levels and Alien bosses-- including a battle with the loader mech from Aliens-- and even face human enemies towards the end! This game shines where ALIENS by Konami needed a little oomph-- there's nasty, gory violence at times, which is perfect for an Alien/Predator game! Chestrbursters burst out of human bodies in a bloody mess, and aliens tear apart humans with their spiky tails.. awesome! Great adaptation of the 2 sci-fi/horror franchises.
