Aliens versus Predator 2 Gameplay - Marine Episode 4: A Long Detour
3Guided by Tomiko, and aware of the sealing of the Hive Tunnels, Corporal Harrison is on his way to rescue his team, who are being led to a trap by the Iron Bears and Eisenberg's Combat Synthetics. Unfortunately, due to the sealing, he was forced to return to the Alien-Infested Primary Operations Complex, in an attempt to regroup with White Team to organize the rescue of Major McCain and any other survivors in his unit. Just like the playable Predator, Harrison will have to fight his way through the Infested Installation and any Aliens that stand in his way. Despite the dormancy of the Aliens in there, it would be enough that they sense just one heavily armed Marine to awake and overwhelm him. A daunting task that only the most committed men may stand a chance to accomplish. And then it could be pure luck what gets him to succeed in his mission.
I played the mission again, just to face that Praetorian in the end of the episode. I don't know why it just stayed there, staring at the door it tore down, because it usually proceeds to charge against the player, as soon as it breaches the door. Nevertheless, it took advantage of it, and it was funny to see it withstood almost three loads of the Rocket Launcher before it finally fell. Those Alien Praetorians aren't there to fool around with them.
