Ghost 1.0 Gameplay 1 Part 7 (Hard Difficulty) - Closing Valves Makes Ghost Act Awkward
Ghost reached a door with no panel and must wait for Jacker to get it open. In the meantime, Boogan tells her how he and Jacker met. Despite being both versions of the story (Jacker's and Boogan's) consistent about the general picture, the details differred deeply, being Boogan's version much more action-packed and far-fetched, but also more entertaining than Jacker's. In fact, Boogan becomes a playable character during that segment. I could have played that part better, but sometimes the mouse buttons didn't respond. Fortunately, you aren't required to reach a certain mark to progress through the story, but there is an achievement for killing 200 Punks. If you want to retry it, exit the game as soon as possible without saving, and load the game by following the long route.
The Laboratory looks extremely quiet, as if it were shut down recently, which renders it even more intriguing. Moreover, there are some very big Pipes carrying the same fluid from the Plant Samples, and the first one is actually close to the Laboratory Entrance. In order to find out what the Nakamura Space Station is accomplishing by transporting such a large flow of the Fluid, Jacker orders Ghost to close the Valves of those Pipes. Nothing special happened upon closing the first one, but then Ghost became erratic when she was ready to close the second Valve. The last thing Jacker and Boogan need is that the only ally they have deployed in Nakamura Space Station becomes incapable of following instructions, but that's only the beginning of their new problems. They are unaware that other characters outside the Space Station are also acting awkward, and Viktor has instructed one of his Agents to investigate the cause of this undesired behavior.
Regardless, many rooms of the Laboratory have Laser Sensors that, when something trips them, unleash powerful Burning Lasers that instantly destroy any robot in the room. Ghost will have to explore that area very cautiously.
