Alpha Protocol (Xbox 360): Thorton's Legacy Part 34
5Probably one of the most underrated titles of its time, Alpha Protocol by Obsidian Entertainment and Sega is a third-person shooter/RPG that revolves around newly hired field agent Michael Thorton. Not even after his first mission, Thorton is betrayed by the operation that he worked for, and few (not even the United States Government) even know exists. Picking up the pieces and using everything at his disposable, Thorton continues his mission to stop a potential world war, while clearing his name in the process.
Despite some gameplay issues and "dated" graphics, I really like Obsidian and Sega's attempt at an original modern day espionage game that has heavy rpg elements to it. The gun play, gadgets, close quarters combat, hacking, timed dialogue choices, lock picking, ladies and everything else a spy can ask for. In this playthrough I decided to have my version of Michael Thorton be similar to Bond,but a bit more of a smartass at times, and utilizing a bit more firepower when needed...
