
AM2R "New" tech: Yoloball
EDIT: Looks like it was already discovered and mentioned in a twitch chat but it was not documented, I didn't have any idea that it was a thing back then but well it's good to know another glitch. The new naming of this glitch came from Naatiska.
I stumbled upon this while looking for optimizations on the 100% category, you can avoid losing a bad landed speedball by activating the Spiderball just on the last frame before landing. The shortest activation of the spiderball is of two frames so that's why you have to do it on that frame.
The spiderball avoids the bumping animation of the morphball so by activating it is like I never fell from a higher distance to lose the speed boost.
This works as a fail-safe against losing the speedball but it's hard to pull off because the timing is frame perfect on both the activation and deactivation of the spiderball.
