AMD Navi 2x VS Nvidia Ampere RTX 3000 - Why you should wait for AMD GPUs!
505Next week - media coverage around the new Nvidia GPUs will hit a frenzy, when Nvidia make their announcement and usher in a new generation of GPUS, most likely starting with the RTX 3080 and possibly the RTX 3090.
It will be easy to get caught up in the media hype and FOMO, which could send the launch prices of the cards sky rocketing. I'm here to tell you that - we know ALOT about both Nvidia and AMD cards already - enough for people to make an educated guess on what they should do next week.
Given the leaks already - we roughly know the performance of what AMD Navi 2x is going to reach, based on the Xbox Series X and PS5, and I think if you're looking for RTX 3080 level of performance, that its a good idea to consider waiting until AMD Navi 2x hits the market, which will force Nvidia to reduce prices if they're heavily inflated. This will also give time for manufacturers to iron out any issues.
In this video - I have given 3 reasons why I think people looking at RTX 3080 level of performance should wait and see what AMD is going to offer. Obviously if its an urgent purchase, then you do you. And if you're looking for a RTX 3090 from AMD, I don't think AMD is going to quite get there this time around.
