An Outstanding Tactical Turn-based Deckbuilder Roguelite | Star★Vaders demo
Hello everyone! We are going with more demos here. This is Star★Vaders a roguelike mix of the classic tactical turn-based where you fight on a grill with deckbuilding, and it works amazingly well. The graphic design is pretty good, the game feels fairly hard, and during the short time I was playing I could see there were so many different builds I could enjoy during different runs. Again, as in most deckbuilder roguelites, you have the classic deck customization options (card removal, different types of upgrades and, of course, getting new cards) and you can acquire relics/artifacts to have extra passive effects, and, to be honest, that was one of the parts I enjoyed the most; their effects felt pretty unique and worth it (and I only got 2-3 I think).
There is also a small twist. Instead of energy, you use heat, being the default amount of heat 3, but you can go over that by overheating your mech and losing the card played (which I don't remember seeing before and I really liked the idea).
It might not be the most unique genre, but playing it felt pretty fresh (and I play a lot of deckbuilders) and it was an awesome experience, I am really recommending you to try this one.
I felt a bit disappointed about my bombs build by the end, so, if I try this again, I will try to focus on something different.
