Below the Stone is an Indie, Action Roguelike Dungeon Crawler all about mining, slashing, and exploring procedurally generated dungeons, and getting back to base alive with your haul!
Below the Stone is an Indie, Dwarf Dungeon Crawler Extraction Slasher! YES!

The Dungeon:
Forged of most easily readable Pixel Graphics, discernable to even the most inebriated of dwarfs, the dungeons in Below the Stone are random; created with Procedural Generation in order to help keep the dungeon crawling fresh, and the action intense!
Grab a mission of gathering, mining, and / or slaughtering in dwarf town, and head down, down deep, into the mines, and these mines are vast!
The mining feels so satisfying, and fast; no bland drudgery here; awesome!
The ore will sparkle in the walls; calling out to your dwarf nose, telling you which way to go for the good lodes!
Beyond ore, you fight monsters, explore caverns, collect mushrooms and weird glow shrooms you can eat to radiate light; cool and totally safe I’m sure.

Once you complete your mission, you call for extraction, but the dungeon will not let you go without a fight!
There is a Deep Rock Galactic style escape timer, where you must fight off waves of foes before the drill can reach you for retrieval; as it is not exactly a subtle way of reaching the depths!
Fight to keep your claim brave dwarf!

Combat and Crafting:
The combat in Below the Stone is very hack and slash, focusing on movement and hacking the hordes of monsters down.
There is no bump damage on monsters here; enemies must physically attack to hurt you; good!
As they attack, enemies flash with a yellow outline right before, making it clear when they can hit you.
These enemies have collision; and you can push them around; good!
Your melee attacks also have a push back, so you can effectively dps crowd control enemies; physically knocking them away from you; nice.

Additionally, as thou art a dwarf, crafting and combat are in your blood!
Character progression in Below the Stone is through found and crafted gear upgrades, so pull goodies out of the mines to upgrade your gear back at base!

Controller Support is planned, and good old mouse and keyboard controls work excellently here; good.

Note: This is an early look at the demo for Below the Stone so any bugs or other oddness is not representative of the final product.
Still, Below the Stone is a fun, mining focused, Action Roguelike Dwarf Dungeon Crawler Extraction Slasher, and is easily worth a wishlist and a watch.
