The September update - version 2.0 - is not just Ara: History Untold's biggest update to date, it may be one of the biggest free updates I've ever covered. For any strategy game. Ara History Untold launched a little under a year ago, to mixed reviews. Since Stardock Entertainment took over the oversight of Ara's production it's moving in the right direction in a big way. Building on the momentum of free update 1.4, this 4X historical strategy game is changing again. This patch will rework every leader, making them more specialized and unique. It also adds an historical unit to every single civ - 40 new units in total! Plus, new Culture and Influence mechanics that add a new quality of life mechanic, and unlock more soft-power options for territorial expansion and empire development.
