So, I remember that during my initial tests with VPC4 Relay+ (way back when), Shiitake definitely gave me a bit of trouble... but I was thinking about Relay+ again recently, and I figured, compared to back then, I have a bit more experience now, both with Shiitake and Relay+... so I decided to give it another try. ^_^

As usual, I started by trying to figure out a decent opening strat. After a bit of experimentation, I decided to try for Shutdown + Firepower... and after a bit of testing, I found the strat I use in this video, which gets her two Shutdowns... but she can just wait for one of them to turn into a Firepower, so... =)

Oh, and for the hallway section leading up to the elevator, I was originally planning to use the "just go" strat that's been working pretty well with every character I've tried it with... And sure enough, it worked well for Shiitake as well... but I noticed that sometimes with Shiitake, things in that section just seemed to line up nicely for her, in a way that made "deal with most of the dangerous enemies before heading to the elevator" a pretty good strat as well... so I ended up doing that instead in some of the runs... including this one!

Anyway, while there were definitely a couple of close calls (including a spot at around 980-chain, where I'm pretty sure Accelerate's damage negation (Accelerate negates every 3rd point of damage (it's essentially 33% armor)) saved Shiitake from a knockdown!)... overall, I'm pretty happy with how this run went. ^_^
