So it kind of felt like a while since I'd done any normal speedrun attempts with Mary... so I thought it might be fun to give it a try. ^^
Of course, I'm a bit out of practice with Mary speedrun strats... so I was initially aiming for sub-14 as a hopefully reasonable goal. But then, several runs in, the game offered Mary a 1-2 Titanium Rapier. =)
The Titanium Rapier isn't necessarily the safest weapon for Mary (the lunge attack can drag the lamb into danger, if you're not careful!), but it is a pretty good speedrunning weapon, so... I figured if things went well, we might be able to manage a sub-13 instead.
Long story short... overall, things went pretty well. =) Despite some careless mistakes, and a couple of scary moments (especially that mini-swarm at the beginning of 3-3!)... Mary managed to keep the lamb safe through it all... and actually ended up with a sub-12 (almost a sub-11) win! ^_^
