Astal: Stage 6: The Forest Fiend (Boss 2)
1Astal and the Bird eventually reach a different forest, which turns out to be corrupted by large monstrous plant. It's mouth also operates like a hand.
A context-sensitive "!" action you can make the Bird do here is attavk the plant's face directly. If you can't do that, you're gonna have to quickly dodge its face slam, and then just as quickly slam it, yourself.
Sometimes, it also plants seeds that form trees that will get in your way. You can toss them aside before they shoot out more seeds to hurt you with.
Beating this boss will let Astal and the Bird move on, but then the plant's soul essence, like the eye bat boss before it, will suddenly leave, likely back to Geist

Jerado was eager to keep watching this "ugly puny brat" fight off more of his monsters as he searched for Leda. Somehow or another, these fights will just keep making him stronger...
By the way, when I said before that Lani Minella voices every character in the English dub of this game, I do mean EVERYONE, including Jerado.
