In which I play "Beach Landing", published in 1984 by Weekly Reader Family Software. This one was written by Richard Hefter and Susan Dubicki.

It's not bad at all. An interesting enough game idea; land troops on beaches, avoiding shells, mines, and such, until you have enough forces ashore to control the beach. Control is a bit clunky but not terrible. Sound effects are minimal. Graphics are decent. There isn't a lot of depth here, but there is fun to be had. It's possible that the game adds more elements as the player progresses through the beaches, but I wasn't able to get as far as the third level in my play time.

Check it out for yourself and let me know what you think!
