In which I play "Cannibals", published in 1983 by Calisto Software, and written by Michael Hedley. This game has some positive things going for it, and some not so positive things going against it. Controls are alright, although getting on and off ladders is finicky. Movement of everything is too slow. Sound and graphics are decent, with some clever touches. Unfortunately, it's spoiled by the random elements of ladder placement and enemy movement. Good potential for what is really a clone of "Apple Panic", but it never quite gets there.
