In which I play "Steeple Jack", published by English Software in 1983, programmed by P.T. Hawkins. This is a game that is so so close to being a lot of fun, but unforgiving collision detection and too-hard-to-avoid enemies make it much less so. It's too bad, really. A couple of minor adjustments or additions and this could have been a terrific game.
It's not terrible, and I did have some fun with it, but it's tough. For me, the perception (reality) of unfairness is a bit of a killer.
