In which I play "Alf in the Color Caves", published in 1984 by Spinnaker Software, developed by Joyce Hakansson Associates, Inc., programmed by Paul Gressling, graphics by Bud Lucky, with music by Edgar Noel Bogas, and game cover by Bill Morrison. Good ol' uncle Bill. Wow, that's a lot of game credits!
I don't expect I'm spoiling anything by revealing that this is a game aimed at fairly young children. It's fun, repetitive, colourful, with clever animations, catchy music, and a bouncy player character. I think this would be a big hit with the youngsters! It also serves, interestingly to me, as a primer to the basic concepts of video games.
Let your youngsters loose on this one, and I predict that fun will be had!
