In which I play "Blue Thunder", published in 1984 by Richard Wilcox Software, programmed by Richard Wilcox and Trevor Perks. This game is sort of a cross between Choplifter and Fort Apocalypse. I find it compelling, but it is also rather challenging; or it was challenging for me, at least.

After roughly twenty-five (okay, maybe twenty-eight) minutes of playing the game, I finally completed mission 1 and played mission 2 for about a minute before I perished and went back to mission one. Wait. Now that I'm thinking about it, it seemed like there was a way to start on mission 2. Hmmm. Yeah. I'm looking at it now and you can select the start mission, from one to four. D'oh! It might have made a more interesting video if I had looked at the various levels! Oh well. I earned my way to mission 2, by Gort.
