Attachment, Identity & the Mystery of Being - The entire thrust of nondual self-inquiry is to discover who you really are through the process of uncovering who you are NOT!
It is a kind of a spiritual deconstruction. We have all sorts of ideas about ourselves and these ideas make up out identity. In that identity then is all the things we get very attached to. With attachment comes the effort to keep things from changing or to clinging to a better future and a denial of any value to this moment.
This is what nonduality and spirituality is all about.
