BACKROOMS Dreams | Full Game Walkthrough | No Commentary
Today we archive the first Backrooms game of 2024 and it is arguably the best Backrooms experience I have ever had. The game itself is actually made within another game which is called Dreams. This is a PlayStation 4/5 exclusive game where you can basically make any type of game or video animation that you want.
I saw footage of this Backrooms game and I knew I just had to get Dreams to archive some of the best titles on there. This Backrooms game does something amazing and that is that it introduces walking, talking NPC scientists that will accompany you during your adventure. I was incredibly surprised to hear the solid voice acting, but also see them animate and walk alongside me.
It mad the overall Backrooms experience a lot less lonely than usual. I highly recommend other indie developers to add talking characters to more Backrooms games in the future as it felt so refreshing and new despite there being so many entries out already. And in case you just want to go explore the Backrooms on your own and leave your talking companions behind, you can actually do that too. You will even get to explore some levels that are exclusive to that moment where you go explore on your own. But if you do that it does feel more like many of the other Backrooms games out there and so for this video I wanted to focus on the route where you stick with your team.
The developer has said that he will add more levels and routes in the future, so I am sure that we will return to this wonderful chapter within the Backrooms saga.
Also, if anyone has any good recommendations on games that are available through Dreams to archive, then please let me know!
