In this episode, David's party strays a bit to the east and unexpectedly finds itself in a goblin-inhabited area, whose occupants are apparently distinguished by worshiping Bargrivyek, the "God of Cooperation". Upon closer inspection, their "God" turns out to be none other than the old mage Adoy, long sought out by Neera to help her in controlling her wild power surges. After finally defeating the Red Wizards who just caught up with Neera and her friends, Adoy tells Neera the truth - basically, that she has to learn to live with and work around her "gift" rather than get rid of it - and bids the party farewell. With this lesson learned, David and the others make their way back to Nashkel, passing through the Nashkel Carnaval area for a few laughs and getting their reward from the Mayor for solving the problem with the Mines; along the way, they also pick up a new companion - the noble warrior-priest Branwen, turned to stone by the rogue mage Tranzig. From there, it's back to Beregost, where they find Tranzig and deliver him justice, also learning that their next target awaits them somewhere in the deep forests of the Northeastern regions.
[NOTE: This video is part of a re-recording of my playthrough of Baldur's Gate, which will be fairly similar to the original one but with some technical improvements (several installed mods restoring cut content and introducing more dialog and banter options; use of SweetFX for brighter and more vibrant colors; more zooming in on the actual party; various tweaks and improvements on original decisions).]
