Greetings, everyone.

Today I bring you a control comparison video for Batman: Arkham Knight on the PC, where I display the main differences and advantages / disadvantages for both of them, in my opinion of course. As always, if you have your own preferred device to play the game and you enjoy it, just use that one.

So, the gamepad controls for this game on PC are quite fine, nothing lags, everything responds well, etc. The only issue I found was when trying to aim the camera to grapple onto higher places, but when you use the left trigger the camera automatically pans up so we can get ahold of those high places, but with the limited control associated to the gamepad, of course.

As with previous Batman games on the PC, the gamepad is very good for combat, and in this case since we can drive our batmobile, the controls there are very good with the pad, as expected.

Now, if we play with keyboard and mouse, the first thing we’ll probably notice is the super high sensitivity by default, and that cannot be changed via ingame menus; it needs some .ini file editing, and we can do that by navigating to our game directory, “BMGame”, “Config” and "BMImput.ini", where we can find the “MouseSensitivity” line and edit it with a lower value.

Now, with the mouse adjusted, we can clearly see the PC controls are good and feel quite responsive despite me playing at 30 FPS. With the keyboard we can set almost every gadget to a quick fire key, and also three quick takedown combo keys, and combining all of this will make our combat pretty fluid and responsive.

Overall, I can play comfortably with any of the control choices, be it gamepad or mouse and keyboard, so at least the PC version of the game has that pretty well nailed down, in my opinion.

I hope this video was useful for any of you who still play the PC version of the game, despite the other issues :P
