Greetings, witchers.

With the 1.05 / 1.04 patch (PC / console) CDPR fixed an issue with Runestones in which there was a gap between lesser runestones (2%) and greater ones (5%). In order to craft greater ones, we needed the “normal” version of each rune, which gives 3% to the stat – effect they buff, but we couldn’t really craft the 3% ones, only the 2% lesser ones.

So in order to craft greater runes, we needed to actually buy 3% runes from vendors, or if we had any luck with the loot, we could already have some in our inventories.

Now, with the new patched diagrams, that we can buy from Hattori, the master swordsmith in Novigrad, the problem has been resolved and the process of crafting runes is as it was intended now.
