Batman Vengeance GameCube playthrough part 5 finale: Infernal Jest: Dedicated to Kevin Conroy
And so here we are at last, in the final episode of the game and the levels are tough in spite of how huge our health bar is and the fact we almost have a complete set of moves.
Due to the fact there is no score here, it's in your best interest to avoid the unscripted battles and just run through the areas atop the gasworks after you take out the two mandatory thugs with flame throwers that appear after Joker gives us a rundown of why it is the plots of the prior episodes all lead up to this point, us opening up the pipes in the gas lines really left an opening for Joker to take advantage of.
Taking on the rocket mime is fairly simple if you take out the homing rockets with well aimed batarangs, as otherwise evading them is a real chore. Also I never realized it, and if I did I forgot, if you try and aim at Harley at all during the fight, she hides before you can try and bop her one upside the head.
We have a rematch with the Joker and in spite of the heavy damage I took, I take him down in less than a minute. Talk about a pathetic rematch and he ever tackled me once in either battle. And yeah, we picked up a clue to the puzzle all the way back at the end of episode 2, the disk Isaac Evers dropped, has a color code in it. Mostly for those of you who might not know the color combinations, but I show it off twice to illustrate you can check it, even while in the puzzle.
Buuuut it's not the end yet as we have to save Joker from falling, but this time it's a boss battle and I shockingly did a bit terrible but still pulled a no death run, with a total of 114 points. Not quite the full 120 but still that's not too bad. However I have yet to make a bonus video getting the final cheat envelope because it's a right pain to get but I'll try at some point. Just it is insane what you have to get Envelope D vs A B C and E.
P.S. Why are the credits so long they more than outlast the music?
