Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (2010) (PC) (DICE)
1Lately I've been taking advantage of a few digital download sales to get hold of some games which I don't expect will run particularly well on my current PC, but which might come in handy once I decide to finally upgrade my hardware. After I got Bad Company 2 this weekend I quickly checked out a multiplayer match which sure had that large-scale Battlefield feeling to it (...not that I've ever played any BF game for more than 30 minutes), and I was also pleased to see how the destructible environments affected the gameplay.
BFBC2's actual campaign (which, realistically speaking, is the only truly interesting part of the game for a singleplayer dogmatic like myself) has had a lukewarm reception among critics, but I was at least somewhat intrigued to find out that, for whatever story-related reason, it starts out with the WW2 intro/tutorial-esque prelude featured in this clip.
