Bulletstorm (Gameplay #2)
0I recently finished Bulletstorm, and it turned out to be a fun and clever shooter which above all impressed with its great-looking, refreshingly colorful environments. The XP/unlock system worked a bit better than expected, too, even though I can't say it always inspired me to be *quite* as innovative in my kills as People Can Fly no doubt would have hoped for.
The plot suffers a bit from not quite being able to decide whether it's going to be a satirical, knowing take on the undeniably silly action game and movie genres or a comparatively serious attempt at dramatic storytelling, but either way the script includes some genuinely funny lines and a few twists and turns which provide enough incentive to want to see how it all ends (which it sadly doesn't, due to a very unnecessary cliffhanger).
