Just use held shots and try to knock her into the walls with PKP during the first phase. You can interrupt most of her attacks with Wicked Weaves but you likely won’t be able to land 2 finishers. PKP spam is the best option here even if it’s boring. It will do a bit more damage than stomps or uppercuts if you knock her against the wall and is a lot safer. Umbran Armor is useless during the first phase. At least it was to me, maybe you can do some flying kicks and hit her against the wall.

If you have a lot of magic you can pretty much just PPP or JC Punch your way through phase 2 with Umbran Armor. This is proving true for a lot of bosses with Rosa.. It either completely destroys them or is relatively useless. You can still just shoot Alraune or Balder in Umbran Armor I guess, the guns do a lot of damage and hit fast enough, but it can make it extremely difficult to see where hits are coming from. It does have an amazing slide dodge to make up for it. I’m not sure why I cancelled it at the end I should have gone for an Umbran Armor finisher.. Oh well.

I ended up with a ton of combo points since I managed to keep one during all of Phase 1, even if you get minimal combo points there and reset you can get the Platinum combo medal pretty easily. Just wait for Witch Time and unload with Umbran Armor during the 2nd phase.

Alraune 1st Phase was quite difficult but once I got into a rhythm and started moving away after combos it only took a few more tries. She can end up above you where you can't see attacks coming or suddenly counterattack as soon as Witch Time ends. Father Balder will probably be the hardest for Rosa.. With Aesir you pretty much just dodge whenever your not in Witch Time (or when you think it's close to ending.) Balder is easy to loop with Jeanne or Bracelet of Time.

I miss Jeanne's Witch Time.. Still trying to get used to the varying durations you get with Rosa.

That 880,000 combo score though. I'm pretty pleased with this fight. Maybe could have styled more but Alraune tends to make you pay if you try doing that, at least on the first phase.
