That poor Belief. I was mad at this Chapter after needing to restart several times with Gold Combo Medals.. I wasn't letting that happen this time.

Verse 1 will likely be one of the hardest Verses. I had to restart this Chapter quite a few times.. You need a massive combo score here but it’s easy to drop it and the camera and slanting platform make things a lot more complicated than they need to be.

I was just stalling at the end of Verse 1. You may want to do this if you know you have enough points and are down to a few enemies, it’s pretty difficult to see what’s happening and enemies can sneak hits in when the Glamor goes to slash the plane. You’ll need to get used to when it attacks.. it will do this a few times during the Verse. If you kill enemies before it slashes the plane you have no way to keep your combo going.

You NEED to hit enemies right before it slashes and start hitting the next wave immediately. You can just spam handguns and dodge around at this point. Every once in a while enemies will actually survive the slash.. This is likely due to the weird slanting. Straight Wicked Weaves can also whiff because of this.

A lot of things in that Verse really just work against you.. You really need to attack enemies in Witch Time and maintain a combo through most of Verse 1. You may even need to enrage enemies or hold off on killing them just to get enough. Launching them into the walls instantly kills them but doesn’t give extra points.. This is why I was going for a lot of stomps, uppercuts, and just hitting thing with standard attacks at the start.

I thought the Belief hit me for a second as well. I forgot how weird Hornet Within is with Umbran Armor.. You still turn red like you took damage. I also got Hornet Within after I ran out of dodges and did the flip. I forgot you could actually do that, I couldn’t see and there was a huge flaming enemy on top of me.. I just wanted out of that corner.

Aerial Rosa is pretty awesome, but it's a bit dissapointing you can't rise with PPKP.. You can still rain down death with air PPPKKK and do the ever useful dropkick into Wicked Punch.

I'll definitely try experimenting with Umbran Armor and different pause combos with Rosa. Her strongest option in most situations is held PPPKKK. The shots on the third punch and sweeping kicks do about as much damage as a Wicked Weave and the finishing kick also fires a lot of shots directly forward. A very nice option to have against big slow bosses when a lot of her other long combos tend to fire all over the place..

For some reason she doesn't seem to fire bullets during PPPPK or PPPPP. The punches and kicks still do a lot of damage. PPPPPK is pretty decent and the flurry of punches can trap multiple enemies into the finishers. (Not ones that block, unless your in Witch Time)
