Beat Final Fantasy Adventure Real Fast Part 1 (The Warp Trick) - A Wild Glitch Appears!
In Final Fantasy Adventure for the Nintendo Game Boy, there's a fairly simple way to blast through the game using a series of relatively easy glitches. The first trick is called the Warp Glitch and it's a super easy trick you can exploit to warp from the Kett's House area to the Snowfield. This is a major skip that bypasses a huge chunk of the game. It's usually called the Warp Glitch and all you need is the chain sickle.
I recommend using performing this trick after you finish the Kett's House dungeon for multiple reasons. Firstly, you will need the chain sickle to perform the glitch, and you will need an ally in your party if you want to use this glitch to get you to the final boss quickly - this ally will come in handy for a trick I'm going to show off in a later video.
Secondly, it helps to have the sleep spell, since we are going to be warping to high level areas where the enemies will definitely one-shot you. So putting them to sleep will help you avoid powerful monsters.
Anyway, this particular instance of the warp glitch is SUPER easy. Go to the area one screen to the east of Kett's House and use the chain sickle to clear the bottom plant on the far right of the screen. Once it's gone, walk up one square to stand in the space the plant occupied.
Now head right to go to the next screen and immediately stop. Tap UP on the D-pad to face north, then press A to swing your chain sickle, and while it's swinging, hold LEFT. Your dude will transition back to the screen on the left, but instead of being in the marshland, you will now have warped to the Snowfields, which is like a level 22 area.
From here, there are two more glitches you can exploit to get to the final boss very easily, and one of those glitches involves turning an enemy into a snowman, so you might want to grind the walrus enemies for a Blizzard if you want to glitch your way to the final boss.
The next trick is called the Sword Warp and you can see it here - https://youtube.com/shorts/lurAtOuUW1w
But for now, you can level up VERY fast by fighting the high level enemies in the snowfield!
Final Fantasy Adventure is a super underrated game. In Japan, it's known as Seiken Densetsu, which is called Mystic Quest in Europe, which doesn't have anything to do with Final Fantasy Mystic Quest - an SNES game that was called Mystic Quest Legend in Europe, which is unrelated to Final Fantasy Legend, which was actually the beginning of the SaGa series.
